How to efficiently select a submatrix with Python? - python

I have an adjacency matrix of size nxn (so matrix is symmetric) and I would like to select a submatrix of size mxm and then get its upper triangle. Currently, I am doing this as follows:

But I need to perform this operation of getting the submatrix + getting its upper triangle many times, and currently this is the bottleneck of my code.
Is there any way to make this faster? If there is a way to get the upper triangle of the submatrix directly, I would also appreciate that since I don't need the full submatrix anyway.

Try numpy.triu (triangle-upper) and numpy.tril (triangle-lower).

What is the best approach to use swin_b pretrained model for feature extraction?

I'm currently using different types of pretrained models with a specific dataset containing images. As language and tecnology I'm using python and PyTorch.

I've imported the model using the following command:
from torchvision.models import swin_b as SwinTransformer
And I've tried different approaches for weights parameter, as follow:
model = SwinTransformer(weights='DEFAULT')
model = SwinTransformer(weights='IMAGENET1K_V1')
I also tried to import the Swin_B_Weights using: import torchvision.models.Swin_B_Weights.
model = SwinTransformer(weights=Swin_B_Weights.DEFAULT)
model = SwinTransformer(weights=Swin_B_Weights.IMAGENET1K_V1)
But in the end, I'm always receiveing the same warning. Can someone help me with this issue? Thanks!

Building SVM throws error because my training array has an extra dimension [closed]

I am creating a support vector machine. The model below reads the arrays that begin with "log" as vectors in the SVM graph. Arrays log15-log21 are to be classified "c" while the lines log22-log36 are to be classified "d". The goal is to give the svm another vector in the format of the "log" lines and for the svm to label it "c" or "d".

An online guide I see does not have the vectors separated by commas, but the individual characters in the vector arrays have significant meaning, so I don't want the 1's and 0's to be "jumbled up", if that makes sense.
You are defining X as an array (you are using brackets). That's why you are obtaining an error. Change the way you define X and it should work:

Remove array([]) brackets to create clean array for matrix equations

I want to remove array brackets from my vectors so I can turn them into matrices for equations, what is the best way to do this? I want the vector to be [0,0] instead of array([0,0]) so conjoined into matrices are [[0,0],[0,1]] instead of [array([0,0]) , array([0,1])]

Python: Given an adjacency matrix in form of an array of arrays - how can I get the connected components?

Given an adjacency matrix of an undirected graph in form of an array of arrays in python, how can I get the connected components in form of (row,col,class)?
I already used scipy.sparse.csgraph.connected_components(adjmx) - yet what I got was only a list of the connected component labels. How can I get their precise location (meaning: row and col and label)?

I run scipys CC algorithm on it:

What it yields is:
a) the number of connected components: 7
b) an array:

What I need now is an output in the fashion (row, col, cc label). What is the precise semantic of this array i get in b) ?
