I've been trying to install Pygame for days now, and the only dependency missing is smpeg. I get the following output:

I've also tried to brew edit smpeg, adding include.install Dir["*.h"] above the two end at the end of the code, but to no avail.
My brew doctor says:

got it. did this: inside 'pygame-1.9.1release', 'cd src, emacs scale_mmx64.c'. there I looked for all occurrences of 'movsxl' and replaced them (two) with with 'movslq'. then 'sudo pip install hg+http://bitbucket.org/pygame/pygame worked'.

I also did some tips which mentioned in the following link but it didn't work for me.

After reading cffi documents, I find out that,"/opt/homebrew/bin/gcc-11" is gcc, and not clang and cffi doesn't explicitly support gcc on MacOS.
So, I added the following lines to ~/.bash_profile and it worked

I am trying to run Quantlib-Python on a Macbook with M1 processor (Big Sur v11.3) following https://www.quantlib.org/install/macosx-python.shtml. I have managed to install Quantlib 1.22 and Python 3.9.4 via homebrew:
Pouring quantlib--1.22.arm64_big_sur.bottle.tar.gz into "/opt/homebrew/Cellar/quantlib/1.22"
However when I then try to install Quantlib-Python through pip I get:
ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement QuantLib (from versions: none)
ERROR: No matching distribution found for QuantLib
From this it seems that whilst Quantlib 1.22 is ready for arm-based OSX, QuantLib-Python isn't.
Then I am trying to install from a released version as per the above link:
tar xzf QuantLib-SWIG-1.22.tar.gz

I have tried quite a few workarounds for the boost issue, and looked over lots of other question/answers but yet to find a fix. Is it an issue with the flags? Has anyone had any luck getting QuantLib-Python to work on M1-based OSX?

I'm trying to install bigfloat and I am getting this message that seems to indicate I need the mpfr library first. How do I do this?

I'm pretty new to python and pythonanywhere, so I don't know how to install libraries.
I tried to find how to install a library using google, and I tried to use:
pip install --user mpfr
but I get this error message:

The gmpy2 is written in C and depends on three other C libraries: GMP, MPFR, and MPC. The easiest way to ensure all the dependencies are present is to "libmpc-dev" using the standard package management tools from your Linux distribution.
For example:
sudo apt-get install libmpc-dev

I'm trying to get it working on my Ubuntu laptop - but I couldn't manage it on my Windows PC either.
I downloaded pycrypto-2.6, extracted it, and ran
python setup.py build
but then this happened

You need to install the Python development files. I believe this will do it:
sudo apt-get install python-dev
On Ubuntu, I needed some other packages for it to succeed:
apt-get install autoconf g++ python2.7-dev
pip install pycrypto
On Ubuntu and if you use Python 3.x you will need:
sudo apt-get install gcc python3-dev
you probably already have gcc but just in case if you are trying this command from Dockerfile with base image python:3.6.4-slim-jessie then you will also need gcc.
