I'm currently trying to run a game which seems to need Python2.2. When I start the game nothing happens, so I brought back my very basic debugging skills and found out that the code calls a function called "InitializeEx" with "site" as parameter, then fails with "ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND (00000002)" and exits. I googled and it seems like site is a module of Python.
The problem is I have never had any contact with Python and all this modules-stuff. I think I even have multiple versions of Python installed on my PC (just downloaded 2.2). Can I somehow just download this library and install it?
I'm using Windows 10 Proffesional x64.

What I get when I try to run it
Nothing I'm trying to import is being recognized by the IDE. I do have to admit, I am a fairly novice programmer, and the process of successfully importing external modules (, the ones that don't come with python,) is very confusing to me right now. But from everything I could scrap online, it seems like for VS 2022 I first have to go to [TOOLS] > [PYTHON] > [PYTHON ENVIRONMENTS]. Then from the environments popout I select my python version (, which is 3.10 (64-bit),) update my pip if not already up to date, search for my desired package and download. The terminal said the download completed but the IDE still can't find the import.

This is a problem I've been putting off for months, and in the past I downloaded the packages through the Windows command prompt instead of the IDE. I'm not sure if it's any different, I'm not sure if one is more right. The result was the same regardless, it didn't work. And after several uninstalls and reinstalls, I even tried moving the entire package folder into my project folder to see if anything would change. The import was accepted but something in the packaged errored out. Moving files like that doesn't seem like the correct way anyway, I just want to make sure I bring up everything I tried to fix this.
I suspect that solution is something super simple that I'm just overlooking or don't know. I still kind of think the package needs to be with my .py file in some way but I'm unsure. If you can save me I'd appreciate it because I've been stumped for a while now.
I know my code is super simple, but I just wanted to show the error. I get the error before it prints.
so I'm pretty new to both swift and stack, but I have a problem with implimenting Pythonkit. But basically to provide a short summary, the kit basically allows you to be able to utilize python inside of swift (using certain swift functions in order to save variables, do functions, however, can execute the code of a .py file).
In the process of doing this however this error pops up
Fatal error: Python library not found. Set the PYTHON_LIBRARY environment variable with the path to a Python library.: file /Users/****/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/Y******L-
So I tried updating my Python software to 3.0 and above (I'm not quite sure, I think it was 3.7), however when I run python it shows it is at version 2.7. This kind of confused me a bit, however it was until the error did I notice something was wrong. Why does it show that error? What does it mean?
(I did find a similar post with a similar error in stack overflow, however I don't have enough reputation to comment as well as I don't think the answer was addressed to what I wanted so I'm just going to continue writing here)
The swift code itself has updated (xcode11) and following the steps a lot of the functions have changed within Xcode, what is it that I did wrong that caused the error? Following the link it seems I have to utilize pyto? Checking that link the functions of pyto are different than the ones pf PythonKit. In PythonKit you can utilize python within your swift code, while pyto seems to be a python integration for iOS?
Any advice? And please ask if anything needs clarification, or if there's a different solution please tell me. Thanks,Vince
I am really new to Jenkins and Python so when I have initially researched for this problem, there has been a limit to my understanding. I am looking to write a Python script and for it to be run on Jenkins as part of some automated testing I wish to do. My script interacts with an API and hence imports the 'requests' module on Python. It works fine using the Python interpreter on my local machine but I have had issues when I have tried using the Jenkins Python script builder and so I am looking for a way around this.
As I mentioned, I have looked around the internet for solutions but as my knowledge on this topic is limited I have found it difficult to understand certain ideas that have been mentioned on the web. One lead I have had is related to the use of virtual environments on Jenkins, but as its something I've never used, I have struggled implementing it. I have installed the ShiningPanda Plugin on Jenkins, but I am unsure how to use it.
Any help given is greatly appreciated :)

Hey guys, I'm working on a flexible Minecraft launcher in Python.
I have the code for the authentication all sorted out here to get things like the access token to log into the game and all the other necessary bits for a launcher, apart from the most important bit; I haven't got a method to actually start the game.
This isn't a duplicate of this or this, as they are for the old launcher and system. It could be classed as a duplicate for this, but that hasn't been answered for a long time.
Basically what I'm asking is, does anybody know how I can start Minecraft from a specific version such as 1.14.4? I'm making this on macOS Mojave but most of my friends who will use it are on Windows 10 so I'll need a method that can work on Windows, macOS and Linux if possible.

Edit: I have it done for the most-part, yet when I start the game I get Error: Unable to initialize main class net.minecraft.client.main.Main
Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: joptsimple/OptionSpec
Is not so easy as you think :))
You try to make a custom launcher, but minecraft is Java (and bedrock edition is C++) so you need to have a little knowledge and from thins programming language.
For java you need to know how to work with files from .jar (what are just some archives)...
Is not impossible but still not easy.
I have spent weeks looking for a way to turn my webcam (built into the computer) into a QR scanner using Python but nothing has worked.
In the first instance, I tried installing this software which supposedly would allow me to turn my camera into a barcode scanner, which could then use this video to decode the codes in python. I installed the scanner along with 'pywin32' which was supposedly the library I needed to use, but I couldn't get the two to communicate as my computer kept saying that pywin32 has not been installed (although it had).
Then, I moved onto using zbar/ pyzbar. I downloaded all of the modules that were recommended (I followed the instructions set out on here) but these each came with several more error messages. It was all to do with various libraries and modules not being installed - I've tried downloading PIL/pillow, pyqrcode and a number of other things that are supposed to work, but for some reason, don't.
I don't feel that I can provide any evidence of code as I haven't got any code to fix for this particular issue -- I am simply looking for anyone who may know of a way to transform an ordinary webcam into a barcode/qr scanner using python.
Assuming none of the libraries I need are installed on my computer at the moment, could someone please explain to me exactly which libraries I will need to download, where I can find them, and how I could use them to make Python communicate with my webcam?
This is for my A Level Coursework and the scanner is absolutely fundamental to the program; if anyone can provide me with a useful, understandable solution then I would be really grateful. I apologise if this question is still a little too broad - I am a complete novice to coding and after searching endlessly for hours to find a solution, I feel that this is my final resort.
I did a project on zbar a couple of years ago, and it took 6 months to get zbar working :)
Here's how I setup zbar:
Zbar python module does require zbar.exe. Go to http://zbar.sourceforge.net/download.html and click either ZBar 0.10 Windows installer if you have windows, or Linux builds. Run zbar-0.10-setup.exe and follow installation instructions.
The Zbar python module is available on pypi. That means a simple pip install zbar will install it.
To get .py examples of Zbar running, first download the source code for zbar (top link on http://zbar.sourceforge.net/download.html ), unzip the tar.bz2 file (use 7zip). Inside the unzipped folder there should be /examples. Inside the folder, you will find several examples (proccessor.py is a good one), which can be run just as you would normally run a python program.
