I want to store and read .npy ( Numpy Array Format) using C++. I found a Github repository which does it, but it's quite old, and I want to implement it in C++11.
Can anyone give me a hint or a way to start this mini-project?
As this question was put on hold for being broad, I am narrowing it down, and moving forward to ask, how to design the C++ I/O methods for the .npy, file format?

I'm not sure on the specifics but I know C/C++ code is optimized by the compiler.
Curious if/how Python is optimized during interpretation.
Also appreciated is any good source on how these and other languages are optimized e.g. Rust, Scala, and JS.

The computer obviously stores it sense it knows when to put the screen saver on. Is there a python program that can get the computer's idle time?

Sorry guys if this seems like a really basic question. I understand how to build applications using a programming language. Now, I read that tensorflow is written partly in C/C++ and Python. I'm wondering why this is done and how you can get multiple languages to interface with each other.

Am going to design a game about raising dragons but don't know a way of saving my session/exp/stats so it would be pointless! Can't work out how to use pickle so can somebody give me an answer?
P.S.Simplify your answers as I am stupid
Here is a link for info on basic I/O in the standard library: http://docs.python.org/tutorial/inputoutput.html You will want to store the data from the game in some format (that is up to you) to a file, and then, later, you will read the file, and parse the data, and put it back into memory when the user comes back from a previous session.
