How to run a python program from python 3.8.0 IDLE shell

I want to launch the program Tip_and_Tax_Calculator.py from a folder named Python27 in a python 3.8.0 IDLE shell but I want to know which code will work. I have tried the exec function and execFile but they do not work, I don't know if I am using them in the wrong way too.

The error I get is:

you could use the exec function combined with open and read in the following way for python 3.x:
Notice I change from \ to /:
exec(open('C:/Python27/Tip_and_Tax_Calculator.py').read())
The method you tried and specified is relevant for python 2.x.
Another issue, you do not need to import the Tip_and_Tax_Calculator

after the user added the error message the problem that the script didn't run is the fact the module Tip_and_Tax_Calculator is not in the current shell directory, so one need to specify its full/relative path

Run .py script via sh import module error

This is a very basic question on how to code in python and run your script from a very beginner.
I'm writing a script using Xcode9.4.1 which is supposed to be for python3.6. I then have an sh script run.sh, in the same folder of the script (say "my_folder") which simply looks like
python my_script.py
The python script looks like

import numpy as np
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
v = np.arange(0., 10., 1.)
f_v = v + 1
u = TimeFunction((v, f_v))
plt.plot(v, u.value(v))
print('donne!\n')
But as I try to run my_script.sh from the terminal I get a "ImportError: No module named tick.base" error.
But the tick folder is actually present in "my_computer/anaconda3/lib/python3.6/site-packages" and up to last week I was using Spyder from anaconda navigator and everything was correctly working, so no "import error" occurred.
The question is quite trivial, in some sense it simply is "what's the typical procedure to code and run python script and how modules are supposed to be imported-downloaded when running on a given machine?"
I need it since my script is to be run on another machine through ssh and using my laptop to make some attempts. Up to last year I used to work in C and only need to move some folders with code and .h files.

EDIT 1:
From the Spyder 3.2.7 setting, where the script was giving non problem, I printed the
import sys
print(sys.path)
The -manually- copied the content to the sys.path variable in my_script.py and rerun 'run.sh' and now getting a new (strange) error:

First, check the python which you are calling the script with is pointing to the anaconda python and it is of the same version you are expecting it to be. You can do "which python" command in Linux and Mac to which the path which points to python. It if is pointing to some different version or build of python than the one which you are expecting then add the needed path to the system environment PATH variable. In Linux and Mac this can be done by adding the following line in the .bashrc file at the /home/ folder:
export PATH=/your/python/path:$PATH
And then source the .bashrc file.
source .bashrc
If you are on a operating system like cent os ,breaking the default python path can break your yum so be careful before changing it.

I am running a script in PyCharm and under the Project Interpretor I have the path
C:\envs\conda\keras2\python.exe
When I try to run the script via ssh on the server I get a 'no module named' error. I get
/usr/bin/python as the ans to 'which python' on the server itself. Could you tell me which path I must add for the script to run properly?

Executing a python script from scala giving error while running the same script from the command line does NOT

This is my python script:

m=magic.from_file('<file with absolute path goes here>')
print(m)
On running this from the command line:
$ python script.py
Microsoft Word 2007+
results in the output of the TYPE of the document that file is. Using python-magic.
Now running the same script from scala using below code:
import sys.process._
def compWithLibmagic(){
val result = "python /script.py" !
}
throws the below error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "script.py", line 3, in <module>
import magic
ImportError: No module named magic
PS: I have both python 2.7 and python 3.6 installed on my machine and running the script using any of them from the command line runs just fine so I guess both of them are bundled with the MAGIC packages correctly.
Would highly appreciate any kind of help.

I will try to answer my own question in the best possible way.
While trying to execute the script.py from the command line using python compiler python2.7 was being used and when I tried to invoke the same script.py from the scala compiler using
import sys.process._
def compWithLibmagic(){
val result = "python /script.py" !
}
it was using python3 which was getting unnoticed. It took me a couple of days to actually figure this thing out and finally I removed all the python2.7 and python3 libraries and installed python 2.7 again and it worked like a charm.

It works from both python3 command and Scala code for me.
This should work.

Problems with Python: ImportError: No module named ... [Linux]

I am a noob with installing python programs. I know there are a lot of Questions like this here, I have tried to find a solution for my problem but I can't fix it.
First of all, I am trying to install a program called Qarq. The readme says:
Setup
In order to get qark running, it must be present on your python path. If not, it may lead to module not found errors. This can be done for your current shell by running the following:
export PYTHONPATH={qark root directory}:$PYTHONPATH
Well, I type the command. I check the variable with an echo and I can see the directory in the variable. However, I type "python setup.py install" and I get this error:

ImportError: No module named setuptools
Then, I read in a question here that you must install setuptools, so I did it. I ran the next command:
sudo apt-get install python-setuptools
But the problem is still there, I try to run "python setup.py install" and I get the same error.
On the other hand, the readme says you only need to execute "$ python qarkMain.py". I do that and I get the same error with different module:

I have tried to install qark on Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS and it worked perfectly. I didn't need to install setuptools. Both have the same python version.
I guess the problem is python can't find the modules, maybe I have to move the qark directory to another directory.
I think that's all, if you need more extra information just ask me.
I need your help, I am sure my problem is a foolishness and easy to fix. But I am a noob with python and I don't have any idea.

EDIT: I found a solution, I tried to install again the OS and now python works properly, I don't know if I broke python or I did something bad. Anyway, Thanks.

i could get it work typing this:
1) PYTHONPATH=\home\santoku\qark\qark\:$PYTHONPATH
then just type:
2) python qarkMain.py

Importing modules with python

I'm working with python 2.7 (32-bit) on Windows Vista. I downloaded some libraries including numpy, scipy, and pygame. When I try to import these modules the output says

import numpy
ImportError: No module named numpy
I can find these modules in my python folders but for some reason it doesn't want to recognize it or some thing. (I made sure the file were compatible before downloading.)

Each package should contain a setup.py file. Run this with the command python setup.py install

"Everytime I run the command "python setup.py install" in the python shell it says SyntaxError: invalid syntax "
Please create a folder where you unzip the "numpy.zip" file, say the folder name is "c:\numpy"
Open a MS-DOS terminal (as described here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Command-line_interface), and type :
cd c:\numpy
python setup.py config
python setup.py install
This will set up the needed files in the correct folders for your python.

To properly install this module:
In the Windows search bar (START MENU) type Command Prompt
Right-click on the Command Prompt icon (DO NOT go to cmd)
Click Run as Administrator
in the COMMAND PROMPT (DO NOT open cmd) type:
pip install numpy
This will install that module.
NOTE: If you are NOT in admin mode, you will get a message saying a fatal error has been raised.
