I'm trying to follow the usage example of namedtuple( ) from the documentation, but I keep getting namedtuple is not defined.

You need import collections up top, then you can do collections.namedtuple
You can also do from collections import namedtuple and it should work like in the docs

I am 100% new to programming and I'm having trouble practising the print hello world statement. My code is as follows:
print(hello world!)
You are missing the '' or "" that need to wrap around any string object in Python
Try:
print('Hello World!')

word = ['?']
What does the above line initialize in python?
Is that a special type of initialization?
It's initializing a list with a '?' string as its only element.

I did this :
import calender
But gives me this error :
ImportError: No module named calender
What should I do?
You have a typo in the name, it's calendar, not calender:
import calendar
