NameError: name '_mysql' is not defined - Django tailwind - python

When I run python manage.py runserver, my django server runs and I can see my webpage, however some of the tailwind doesn't work.
When I then stop that server and run python manage.py tailwind start, the localhost:8000 doesn't show my webpage, but my terminal says that it is running.
When I then stop the tailwind server running, and run python manage.py runserver, I get an error saying NameError: name '_mysql' is not defined.
I am unsure why this is happening, here is my full stack trace:

I also encountered the same error last few days, just found this solution and it works for me, hope it helps!
Use the following command to check mysqlclient is installed or not: pip freeze
Add env variable to ~/.zshrc for zsh, or ~/.bashrc or
~/.bash_profile for bash etc.):
export DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/mysql/lib/
Apply change by running
source ~/.your_shell_config_file

Unable to setup mysql with Django on Mac

I installed the recent version of MySQL for my mac (macOS 12(ARM, 64-bit), DMG Archive) and created a database called storefront. I'm working in a pipenv virtual environment and install mysqlclient. I've also updated my DATABASES settings to point to my new database in my settings.py file.
DB Settings. But whenever I try to run the server I get an error. NameError: name '_mysql' is not defined Also at the top, (mach-o file, but is an incompatible architecture (have 'x86_64', need 'arm64e') I thought by installing the ARM version I wouldn't deal with this error. I wonder if it's pointing to the wrong file within my env despite adding the PATH to my .zshrc info. Is there a special way to point to the correct mysql or am I setting things up incorrectly? Here's my error message "

Did you install mysqlclient?
Thing is, I've never told django to use MySQL, in fact, the settings.py states that it has to use SQLite:
DATABASES = {
'default': {
'ENGINE': 'django.db.backends.sqlite3',
'NAME': os.path.join(BASE_DIR, 'gestlote.db'),
}
}
I've alreay tried to reinstall django, upgrade it, pip3 install pysqlite, but nothing seems to work.
So please, help me

Following the answer linked by #bmons, I updated my %PATH% to include
C:\ProgramData\Anaconda3\envs\py36\Lib\site-packages\pythonwin
C:\ProgramData\Anaconda3\envs\py36\Lib\sqlite3

Did you install mysqlclient?
First activate the virtual environment and then do,
pip install mysqlclient
