How to download mwilliamson jq.py on Windows - python

I have spent more than a week trying to figure out how to install the python binding for JQ https://github.com/mwilliamson/jq.py on my computer but I keep getting this error
Executing: ./configure CFLAGS=-fPIC --prefix=C:\cygwin64\tmp\pip-install-v9ec9n9_\jq_7100d98
9ec2f403c8a7cae32d2f83862\_deps\onig-install-6.9.4
error: [WinError 2] The system cannot find the file specified
[end of output]
note: This error originates from a subprocess, and is likely not a problem with pip.
ERROR: Failed building wheel for jq
Failed to build jq
ERROR: Could not build wheels for jq, which is required to install pyproject.toml-based projects
I understand that these bindings/module was not created for windows systems so that is likely why it can't create the bindings but I did see this from the project readme
If a wheel is not available, the source for jq 1.6 is downloaded over
HTTPS and built. This requires:
Autoreconf The normal C compiler toolchain, such as gcc and make.
libtool Python headers.
I have downloaded cygwin to attempt to donwload it through there but since the beforementioned quote is pretty vague in directions, I was wondering how to do this specifically on Windows.

ERROR: Could not build wheels for spacy, which is required to install pyproject.toml-based projects

Hi Guys, I am trying to install spacy model == 2.3.5 but I am getting this error, please help me!
Try using python 3.6-3.9 instead, where there are binary wheels for pip install to use instead of having to compile from source.
(This is a conflict with python 3.10 and some generated .cpp files in the source package. Python 3.10 wasn't released yet when this version was published.)
I had the similar error while executing pip install -r requirements.txt but for aiohttp module:
socket.c -o build/temp.linux-armv8l-cpython-311/aiohttp/_websocket.o
aiohttp/_websocket.c:198:12: fatal error: 'longintrepr.h' file not found
#include "longintrepr.h"
^~~~~~~ 1 error generated.
error: command '/data/data/com.termux/files/usr/bin/arm-linux-androideabi-clang'
failed with exit code 1
[end of output]
note: This error originates from a subprocess, and is likely not a problem with pip.
ERROR: Failed building wheel for aiohttp

ERROR: Could not build wheels for aiohttp, which is required to install
pyproject.toml-based projects
Just in case I will leave here solution to my error. This error is specific to Python 3.11 version. On Python with 3.10.6 version installation went fine.
To solve it I needed to update requirements.txt.
Not working versions of modules with Python 3.11:
aiohttp==3.8.1
yarl==1.4.2
frozenlist==1.3.0
Working versions:
aiohttp==3.8.2
yarl==1.8.1
frozenlist==1.3.1
Links to the corresponding issues with fixes:
https://github.com/aio-libs/aiohttp/issues/6600
https://github.com/aio-libs/yarl/issues/706
https://github.com/aio-libs/frozenlist/issues/305
Try using:
!pip install spacy==2.3.5
Do not give space between == and 2.3.5
If you give any space between equal sign and version, it may give error.

Python delocate-wheel breaks wheel on MacOS

I'm generating wheel files to support a python distribution on MacOS using delocate. The wheels rely on libraries installed when gcc is installed using Homebrew.
brew install -v gcc#10
/usr/local/Cellar/gcc/10.2.0_3/lib/gcc/10/libstdc++.6.dylib
/usr/local/lib/gcc/10/libgcc_s.1.dylib
When running delocate-wheel with verbose option, the above are the two libraries included in the wheel.
If I use pip to install the original wheel, I can run the program without issue.
After running delicate-wheel and installing the new de-located wheel and trying to run, I produce this error:
python(66449,0x105ea3dc0) malloc: *** error for object 0x1071c3b60: pointer being freed was not allocated
python(66449,0x105ea3dc0) malloc: *** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
I have tried using the require-archs=intel, but this errors out, and it appears that I only have single architecture files: Non-fat file: /usr/bin/python is architecture: x86_64
thank you,

Can't install BGSlibrary(pybgs) library from pypi for python using visual studio 2017

I have been trying for 3 days to install this library. It uses CMake and i can't understand how to add OpenCV path within visual studio. I have tried a lot of things like:
1.use CMake-GUI to generate .sln file then build there is also an error.
2.try to add through cmd with CMake but there I face another error.
I believe there is a simple way of directly doing it through visual studio which I am unfamiliar of and can't seem to find it. If someone is kind enough to tell me in simple way how to install library using visual studio python 3.6.
Here is the error I get in VS 2017 after I try to install pybgs library through pip install pybgs
ERROR: Failed building wheel for pybgs

Can't install package inside virtualenv

I have the following environment:
Linux Mint17.1 which comes pre-installed with python 2.7.6.
I setup an altinstall for python 3.3.5
Using python 3.3 I created a virtualenv
I am trying to install TA-Lib in the virtual env but am not having any success.
If I try to install with:
./easy_install TA-Lib
I get the following error:

compilation terminated.
error: Setup script exited with error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1
If I try to install with:
./pip install https://github.com/mrjbq7/ta-lib/archive/TA_Lib-0.4.8.tar.gz
I get the following error:

error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1
So basically both approaches result in a final error of:
command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1
I have no problem installing other packages such as numpy, pandas, matplotlib etc in the virtualenv. It is just TA-Lib that is not working.
You don't have installed underlying ta-lib library. You can find more info on the project site https://github.com/mrjbq7/ta-lib :
Sometimes installation will produce build errors like this:
func.c:256:28: fatal error: ta-lib/ta_libc.h: No such file or directory compilation terminated.
This typically means that it can't find the underlying TA-Lib library, a dependency which needs to be installed.
