When I do conda install PyAudio, this error comes up in my terminal. My Python version is Python 3.10.7.
PS C:\Users\Admin\PycharmProjects\pythonProject2> conda --version
conda 4.12.0
PS C:\Users\Admin\PycharmProjects\pythonProject2> conda install PyAudio

If python is on the left-most side of the chain, that's the version you've asked for.
When python appears to the right, that indicates that the thing on the left is somehow
not available for the python version you are constrained to. Note that conda will not
change your python version to a different minor version unless you explicitly specify
that.

I made a virtual environment called Python3613 (an older version of Python) to do some homework. Homework sadly only can work in this version. I tried to install Spyder on this environment, but it is stuck at the following:
(Python3613) C:\Users\ikim1>conda install spyder
Collecting package metadata (current_repodata.json): done
Solving environment: failed with initial frozen solve. Retrying with flexible solve.
Solving environment: failed with repodata from current_repodata.json, will retry with next repodata source.
Collecting package metadata (repodata.json): done
Solving environment: \
I have tried the code :
(Python3613) C:\Users\ikim1>conda config --set channel_priority strict
But I think i should specify channel priority is for the virtual environment.
anyways, How can I solve this stuck issue?
I've been trying to install QIIME2 on Linux with the command

I even tried installing it another way using:
conda env create -n qiime2 --file qiime2.yml
and get another error:

I'm very new to this so any help on how I could maybe solve this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
./conda install -c anaconda appnope
./conda install -c anaconda libgfortran
This is a new anaconda3 installation on centos 7.9 and geopandas is not getting installed due to UnsatisfiableError.
$ conda --version is conda 4.13.0
$conda install geopandas

Any thoughts how to fix install geopandas?
I have the same issue here, same version of conda (4.13.0).
I re-installed anaconda from the latest available script (2022.05), same issue.
I resolved the problem by installing geopandas using
pip install geopandas
I am looking for help installing wand as a Conda newbie. I was successful installing and using wand outside of Conda on this machine. I am running ImageMagick-7.0.10-Q16-HDRI system-wide. When I run:
conda install -c conda-forge wand
or
conda install -c conda-forge/label/cf202003 wand
as recommended at conda forge, this is the result:
conda install -c conda-forge/label/cf202003 wand

It turns out that the conda error message is misleading. The wand package at conda-forge is in error. Instead I installed wand through pip:
conda install pip
pip install Wand
I've been unable to install boto3 on Anaconda3-2020.07. I have tried on AWS linux and Ubuntu Linux. I am installing Anaconda at /apps/anaconda3-2020.07/.
The errors I get are like this:
$ conda install -c anaconda boto3
Collecting package metadata (current_repodata.json): done
Solving environment: failed with initial frozen solve. Retrying with flexible solve.
Solving environment: failed with repodata from current_repodata.json, will retry with next repodata source.
Collecting package metadata (repodata.json): done
Solving environment: /
It then spins for 30 minutes or so, decides that literally hundreds of packages have to be updated, and fails.
I've never seen anything like this before. boto3 installed with pip with no problem at all.
